- Leaves compound, lower leaves long stalked with 5-leaflets. Leaflets ovate.Upper leaves short stalked with 3-leaflets. Leaflets narrower elliptic. Inflorescence in terminal panicles. Flower actinomorphic,dark crimson to bright rose.Petals round shallowly notched. Fruit an achene, numerous.
