Plant Description:
Stem quadrangular, glabrous. Leaves simple, ovate-elliptic,acute, margin,serrate.Inflorescence an oblong terminal spike,with lower distant verticillaster. Flower zygomorphic, lilac. Fruit a nutlet obovoid in shape.
Flowering and Fruiting:
July-November.
Harvesting Time:
August-November.
Medicinal Value:
It has carminative, cooling and digestive properties. [1] [15]
