- Plant Description:
- Leaves simple, ovate to ovate-lanceolate. Tip acute-sub acuminate, rounded at base, upper surface dark green. Male inflorescence terminal, spicate or racemose, clustered, appear before leaves. Male flower brown-yellow, subsessile with ovate-lanceolate calyx lobes. Female flowers sessile with triangular-ovate calyx lobes. Fruit 3-lobed, subglobose, brick red, with powdery covering. Seed subglobose, smooth, black.

- Locally powder of its fruit is used as quick wound healer, also as purgative and vermifuge.
