- Plant Description:
- Bark dark gray and ridged. Leaves simple heart shaped,glabrous to hairy. Male flower in catkins up to 20 cm long, yellow-green. Female flowers in woody cones. Fruit a nut, winged.

- August-September.

- September-November.
- Medicinal Value:
- Leaf infusion makes a refreshing bath for sore foot. Different colors red, pink, green and yellow are obtained from different parts of this plant.[5] Locally leaf poultice relives pain and swelling.
