- Plant Description:
- Rhizome creeping, with numerous adventitious roots 1-2cm thick. Stem solitary.Leaves simple,3 in number,oval to ovate,glabrous with acute tips.Inflorescence solitary,terminal,1-flowered. Flower actinomorphic,purple-red.Perianth segments lanceolate.Stemen 6, in two whorls.Fruit a berry,globose red having many seeds.
