- Habit & Habitat:
- A shrub up to 3m tall, with hollow stem and hairy branches, found in dry sunny places of sub-tropical and temperate zones.
- Plant Description:
- Leaf simple, ovate, broadly elliptical and hairy on both sides. Flower zygomorphic, paired, hairy, creamy white, fading to yellow. Fruit a berry in pairs, ovoid, white.

- April-July.

- May-August.
- Medicinal Value:
- It treats diarrhea, fever and has diuretic, antibacterial, detoxifying properties. It lowers blood sugar and also used to treat flu, cough, laryngitis, boils, swelling lymph’s glands and food poisoning.[5] [9] Locally it is used to treat wounds.
