- Plant Description:
- Leaves simple, lanceolate-elliptic, short petiole with acute tip. Inflorescence in cymes, usually terminal. Flower zygomorphic, purplish-blue, sometime white with bluish tinge. Corolla tube short, limbs 5-lobed. Fruit a capsule, globose, 5mm broad, bluish, 4-valved with one seed each.

- Locally powder of dried flowers and leaves is used for healing wounds. Plant extract is useful in general body pain.
